God and his person are under assault today that is unprecedented. Many of the attacks are being waged by what is called "The New Atheism." Human reason and so-called "science" have been exalted in an attempt to empirically disprove God's existence like at no time in human history. But, are such attempts really reasonable or it is merely the height of human arrogance and contradiction to assume that God doesn't exist and then fail to prove one's case by using empirical means? The following series of essays deal with some of the more common arguments being used by the Richard Dawkins, Christopher Hitchens, Sam Harris, Daniel Dennett, and Victor Stenger types, and shows where such individuals, as credible as they might be in their trained fields of expertise, fall woefully short as philosophers and theologians, none of which any of them are.
