The Book of Galatians: "O foolish Galatians"
Chapter 3, Verses 1-14

Up to this point the Apostle Paul has argued in defense of his apostleship and message, that God's grace is the basis for man's salvation and that no one is saved by keeping the law. Now, Paul is ready to take the proverbial gloves off as he calls the "foolish Galatians" on the carpet for their departure from God's grace. In this teaching video, Paul begins with a series of questions and then turns to the Father of Faith, Abraham, as the consummate example of who and what it means to be a believer.
When Paul finishes with his questions and illustration, he turns to the reality that if one wishes to live according to law, then one must go all-out. There is no turning back and there are no exceptions if one fails to keep the law perfectly. Finally, Paul explains that because of humanity's failure to keep the law, it is Christ himself who did fulfill the requirements of the law, which is why now even the Gentiles can enjoy the blessings of the Abrahamic covenant, as predicted early on when it was said that in him "all the families of the earth shall be bless" (Gen. 12:3).
