“Queer”fest Laramie 2017: The Day After–Part 1

Paul Derengowski, ThM

It’s the day after “Queer”fest Laramie 2017. The first one in Laramie’s history and what a festival it was. Drag queens shared stories at the local library. Fruits, flakes, and nuts shared telephone numbers and rendezvous plans. And what would a festival of “love” be without incessant streams of hatred and vitriol coming from the defenders of debauchery that could rival the puss wounds of a full-blown HIV patient? It was glorious.

After using a bit of sarcasm and parody to drive home the point of just how sick and disgusting the whole homosexual “lifestyle” is, several within the ranks of queerdom proved the points by showing their true colors. They were as ugly as their depraved little minds could be. Mean-spirited, nasty, and profane commentary, all done in the name of “love,” came pouring forth from their keyboards. One comment could easily be taken as a death threat.

A few snapshots taken from Facebook serve as examples.

Well, Larissa (the “schizophrenicsnowflake”), it becomes mine and others concern when you decide to move from whatever dark recesses where the sickness is taking place into the public arena. In this case, the “queers,” with the sanction of a library employee (who needs to now be fired), decided to flaunt their genitalia or at least the weird ideas that what they do with them, as normal, in public. And if they do not want the criticism, then move it back into “the closet,” where no one needs to know about it.

Then there was this bit of illogic posted by Amanda Barnes, who claimed she was straight, but given her defense of lesbianism, that claim was apparently false.

So, being a decent human is a lifestyle, but being gay or straight has nothing to do with being decent? Excuse me? So, decent human beings are neither gay, nor straight? You see, it is this kind of idiocy among the perverse that totally undermines anything they have to say about decency, morals, or even what means to be alive. To further prove it, Amanda shifts into name-calling mode, which further shows that her defense or argument is empty. Her vacuous attack was played out over and over and over again by others. But, then again, that is what one gets by substituting what is in a person’s head with what is in their crotch as the determiner of right and wrong.

Then Mike Vanata produced this little jewel of stupidity:

What Mike fails to realize is that this is not about whether or not anyone supports perversion, but whether it is right to be flaunting it in public, especially using a taxpayer funded public library to do it. Sexual intercourse was intended for husbands and wives in the privacy of their bedroom to glorify the image of God, for sexual enjoyment between them, and to continue the human race through their offspring. It was NEVER intended for the blasphemy that the freaks at this gathering called a “celebration.” Never!

Of course, there are always those who believe that God and/or Jesus would give the “abomination” hearty approval, as in the case of this comment from Rebecka Smith:

It is interesting how those on the bottom-end of the moral spectrum regularly construe attempts to point out the futility of immoral living is somehow hateful. As if Jesus never said a thing about homosexuality and the condemnation of it, which in reality he did by affirming the Old Testament Law code. Jesus said, “Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish, but to fulfill (Gr. πληρῶσαι=”to confirm”). For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass away from the Law, until all is accomplished” (Matt. 5:17-18).

And just what did Jesus confirm, as the Word of God (Jn. 1:1, 14), from the Old Testament Law in respect to homosexuality? “You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination” (Lev. 18:22). “If there is a man who lies with a male as those who lie with a woman, both of them have committed a detestable act; they shall surely be put to death. Their bloodguiltiness is upon them” (Lev. 20:13). Such admonitions carry over to the New Testament, where the Apostle Paul wrote, “and, although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them” (Rom. 1:32).

So, if anyone is really lacking “love and understanding” for the fellow man, it is the Rebecka Smith-types, who neither know God nor Jesus, much less what either have prescribed when it comes to the “abomination” of homosexual perversion. In other words, if Rebecka et al really saw this disgusting sin for what it is, they would be calling for the death penalty to be conducted by the civil magistrates (see Rom. 13:15), not a propagation and defense of it as something virtuous for the whole of society to participate in at a local public library.

I’ll stop here, for now, as there is much more to come. Suffice it to say, those who have chosen to impugn me and my integrity have done nothing but prove everything I had to write. What they intended for ill, will now be turned into blessing, as the truth will be told, while exposing the lies about homosexuality and “Queer”fest Laramie 2017.
