How NOT to Argue Against the Trinity Mormon Style: Part 6

Dr. Daniel McClellan regularly repeats his canard that the Trinity did not come into existence until after the New Testament was settled, and that only in corrupted fashion.

Yet, as I point out, again, the New Testament texts were already in use long before the Trinitarian controversy ever broke out.

That the Second Century apologists had nothing to do with the Trinity, or even that discussion.

In fact, they were too busy fighting the heretics Marcion and Montanus over what was to be included in the biblical corpus, and that was not settled until about 60 years after the Trinitarian controversy was finalized in 325 A.D.

Nevertheless, as with most heretics and heretical arguments, then rarely ever go away. They simply keep repeating themselves.
