The Marxist-Socialist attempt to ban guns in the United States is at a fever-pitch.
All of it is due to the recent attack by Nicolas Cruz, who decided to act on his baser nature and visit his old stomping grounds, guns in hand, and wipe out several students and teachers.
The Marxist-Socialists, which is exactly what they all are, who want to either repeal the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution or impose some other kind of anti-American legislation upon everyone, so that no one can own a gun, are adamant that by getting rid of all the guns, then school shooting will immediately vanish into thin air.
They could not be more wrong.
All of them use one form of faulty thinking after another, whether by false comparison, lack of definition, or personal attack.
The false comparison comes by way of Australia.
Australia legislated 20 years ago that its citizens could no longer own a gun.
It came about after a massacre that took 35 Aussie’s lives.
Everything is now wonderful in Australia, or least that is what the Marxist-Socialists would have everyone believe.
What the Marxists fail to tell everyone is that Australia never had a Second Amendment to its Constitution, like the U.S. does.
In order for the U.S. to follow Australia’s example would require a Constitutional overhaul, thereby removing the Second Amendment, and in a country of over 300 million guns owned by its citizens, that is not going to happen.
Secondly, although gun violence may have temporarily curtailed in Australia, overall crime has not.
It has remained steady, if not increased in areas such as sexual assault, which proves that criminality does not lie within the tool used to commit crime, but in the heart of the criminal.
The lack of definition that the Marxist-Socialists use lies in the term “assault weapon.”
Typically, they pin the term on the “weapon of choice,” the AR-15, even though that expression is as nebulous as “assault weapon,” and when applied to the AR-15 makes it a canard of devious proportions.
The AR-15 is no more of an “assault weapon” than is any gun used to harm or kill people, and it certainly is not the “weapon of choice,” when committing mass murder.
It simply looks more intimidating than your average hand gun, which is the “weapon of choice,” and since it looks scary and it evokes the greatest amount of emotional response, then it must be removed from the hands of every law-abiding citizen.
The personal attacks come in the form of accusing law-abiding citizens of lacking care and compassion for all the victims, who are mostly children.
Marxist-Socialist argumentation goes something like this: Since a gun was used to kill all of those children in Florida, and you just happen to own a gun, then you are insensitive, uncaring, and non-compassionate if you refuse to give up your guns, in order to save other children’s live in the future.
Of course, the Marxist-Socialists repeatedly attempt to temper their intent by claiming, “Oh, I don’t want to confiscate anyone’s gun. I’m a gun owner myself and love the Second Amendment. I just want to have all the loopholes closed. We simply need to ban ‘assault weapons.'”
Such are outright lies, given that if the Marxist-Socialists were telling the truth, then they would admit that (1) tools to commit murder are not the culprits of murder, (2) owning a gun already entails a mountain of gun regulation; (3) big government was never intended to be our greatest protector, especially when our life is on the line in situations like that found in Florida; (4) using vague language to get one’s way is only indicative of deceit.
Hence, the only one’s lacking compassion in this whole subject of school shooting’s and gun control are the Marxist-Socialists.
They no more care about protecting children, much less the general public, than does a wolf care about protecting a flock of sheep.
What the Marxist-Socialist ilk wants to do is control the population and they know that the only way he can do that is by disarming it.
History has seen this played out over and over and over again, whether it was in Germany, Russia, or now in Venezuela.
Some might say, but Paul, you claim to be a Christian. How can you be an advocate of gun ownership? Are you not supposed to be some kind of pacifist? Jesus never owned a gun.
Actually, Jesus was not a pacifist and encouraged his disciples who did not have a sword (μάχαιραν = daggar) to buy one for personal defense reasons (Lk. 22:38).
So, if you are a Christian or simply a red-blooded, Constitutional American, hang on to your guns (swords). You are going to need them.
The Marxist-Socialist is coming to get them and is using tragedy, most likely inspired by his own tyrannical outlook—that includes all kinds of fallacious reasoning and argumentation—to do it.
