From the preceding commentary on the revelation of God’s righteousness, Paul now begins to explain why that revelation is so important. Human beings have been inherently corrupted and they do not want to hear what God has to say is the remedy.
To prove that they do not want to hear it, and while in their current degenerate state, they set out to hinder the attempt to reach them with God’s redemptive message.
That, in turn, leads to engaging in disgusting homosexual behavior that God eventually turns them over to the penalty of their ways.
From there the lost take an even deeper nose-dive into idolatrous religious practice that ends in a catalog list of 21 vices that the apostle Paul says is “worthy of death.”
Of course, this is just the beginning, as Paul will ramp-up the condemnation of fallen humanity all the way to Romans 3:20.
It is a message that needs to be heard, especially today, when so much that parades about in the name of Christianity is hardly Christian.
So, come join Dr. Paul by clicking on the image below, as he explains the baser human nature left to its debauched devices.
It’s a perspective you will not get in a secular psychologist’s office, much less from many pulpits the preach a health and wealth prosperity “gospel.”
