Anyone who claims to be a Christian is automatically called to be a defender of the faith or a Christian apologist. Unfortunately, in our rather anemic church world, that is not emphasized, and hence a vast majority of Christians miss out on realizing the blessing of what it makes to “always be ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you” (1 Pet. 3:15).
In this broadcast, not only is a description given of just what a Christian apologist is, but based on the passage found in the Apostle Peter’s first letter, chapter 3, five qualifications are given to help the Christian understand what is expected of him in order to fulfill his obligation as a Christian apologist.
