Why Catastrophes Happen

Recently, tornadoes have raced across the Midwest and caused heartaches, damage, and death for thousands of people. Although tornadoes are not necessarily new, and most people will never see one in their lifetimes, when they occur it often leaves many wondering why. Why me? Why my hometown? Why at all? And if it is not a tornado that turns life upside-down, it is something else. A sudden death from a heart attack. A friend or family member is stricken with a debilitating disease. Or may it is something as simple as the loss of a job. Why is there so much pain and suffering in the world? It all seems so senseless at times. Dr. Paul offers several reasons to answer the question of why, starting with the fall of man. To those who love God, and are called according to His purpose, the reasons will make perfect sense. To everyone else they will be left wondering, and perhaps even cursing God.
