Do Liberals and Leftists Really Care Whether Anyone Lives or Dies?

For the past 18 months or so, the world has been inundated by reports involving the China virus (i.e. “COVID-19”) and the apparent mayhem it is causing or has caused.

There has not been a day that has passed where someone in the media has made a big deal about either the spread of the virus or the deaths caused by it.

Media whores, like Anthony Fauci, are constantly standing before a microphone or camera telling everyone about the doom and gloom of the virus, with the only real reprieve coming in the form of a needle stick.

And for those who refuse to get “the jab,” they are treated like pariahs or psychopathic dolts who are responsible for the spread of the virus, even though the numbers indicate that all the synthetic vaccines out there are actually helping to facilitate the spread itself.

But all of this begs the question: do liberals or leftists really care about who dies and who lives? If they do, then the question becomes why? What is the objective reason?

I cannot think of one liberal or leftist who believes in the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, who was incarnated in the person of Jesus Christ, as an objective source for caring about one’s neighbor, much less the world in which the neighbor lives.

The god of liberalism or leftist thinking, if a god is confessed at all, ends up being the liberal or leftist himself.

That kind of subjectivism only results in endless contradictions and conundrums that proves that neither the liberal, nor the leftist, could care about anyone, much less himself!

So, when we turn to the question of vaccines and the China virus and why a liberal or leftist should care whether or not anyone needs to get “jabbed,” we are left with another contradiction or conundrum.

Consistency dictates that if the meaning of life is purely subjective, then no one should care about anyone else; everyone should be consummate narcissists.

But, the liberal or leftist at least projects that he cares about others, which is totally inconsistent.

So, why the inconsistency? I think there are two reasons.

First, even though the liberal or leftist rejects Jesus Christ (i.e. the God of the Bible), they cannot escape the reality that they have been created in God’s image.

Within that image is the conscience or awareness of what is good or benevolent according to God’s standard and they are acting accordingly, even though they will not give God his due (see Rom. 1:21).

Second, they are lying to themselves, while trying to fool others, about the care they wish to express.

This is especially brought out in the comments and actions they make toward those who refuse their seemingly outward demonstrations of benevolence.

In other words, if the liberal or leftist really cared about the so-called “unvaccinated,” then there would be no threats, nor attempts at intimidation, to force them to do something they refuse to do.

In fact, given the empty worldview of the liberal or leftist, he would not even offer, much less question or threaten anyone about anything, a suggestion that a person get vaccinated.

He would have an attitude of “live and let live” and leave it at that.

But, that’s not what we’re seeing today.

We’re seeing a growing number of vocal narcissists who are pushing vaccine mandates who really do not care about the lives or livelihoods of those they are pushing them upon.

Couple that with the highly questionable nature of the vaccines themselves and one is left with a potpourri of conflicted, convoluted, ulterior motives that could serve as a definition of pure evil.

The liberal or the leftist could not care less if a person lives, but because of sheer inconsistency the pretense lives on as if they do.

Perhaps if a few more people would start asking why liberals or leftists care and point out the inconsistencies in their responses, a whole lot of nonsense, which would include the despotic mandates, would come to an end.

Conversely, bypassing the necessity of asking is only opening wider the Pandora’s Box of irrationality and evil, and pouring forth even more insanity that can only lead to the clamor for a dictatorial ruler to make it all stop.

And just how insane would that be, especially if part of the clamor came from those who supposedly had an objective reason for living in the first place?
