He and She is They and Them?

As a general principle, “God is not a God of confusion but of peace” (1 Cor 14:33).

By that it means that God is quite clear as to his thoughts, intentions, and will, so long as people listen or pay attention to he has said through Scripture.

Conversely, since people are not God, nor will ever be gods, their thoughts, intentions, and wills are not necessarily clear, much less are they genuine.

In fact, much of the time they are deceitful or tainted with ulterior motives in an attempt to garner special attention or advantage that they would not have otherwise, had they been clear and genuine.

It is why the prophet Jeremiah would write, “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it?” (Jer 17:9).

Today’s “woke” culture is full of such deceitfulness and obscurity, and is especially true among the sexual perverts who want to blur the lines of individual gender to satisfy their individual lusts.

An individual male or female is no longer he and she, but they or them.

It is the kind of grammar not intended for clarity sake, but to cause confusion.

Such confusion, though, is bound to backfire, just like all attempts to relativize the truth.

And then all of those who participated in it will really be “woke”—but it will be too late to do anything about it.
