Roman Catholicism is Christianity’s oldest and largest caricature or cult, totaling more than a billion adherents. Although it uses many of the same terms found in orthodox Christianity, it, like all the other aberrations of Christianity, has twisted those terms to mean something wholly other than what the biblical writers first intended. Moreover, with one person sitting at the head of the “Church,” who interprets everything for the rest of the followers and laity, and sometimes believes himself to speak “infallibly,” that is one clear-cut indicator of what a cult is.
Of course, despite the blatant deception inherent within Roman Catholic doctrine and history, billions of its adherents are good, decent, law-abiding human beings, at least as far as they can be in a secular sense. Many, if not most, of those within Roman Catholicism know nothing about its history, its doctrine, or worse yet, what the Bible teaches. In the latter sense, that is because the authorities within Roman Catholicism have made it impossible for the laity to read and interpret the Bible on its own, which is another clear-cut indicator of what a cult is and does.
The following articles, therefore, are intended to enlighten those who have eyes to see and possibly a mind that is capable of thinking beyond blind prejudicial religious bigory. If perhaps someone comes to a knowledge of the truth after reading something that piqued their attention, glory be to God. For it is only by the Lord God Almighty’s drawing that anyone comes to a knowledge of the truth. And once that freedom is granted, the recipient is free indeed. There is nowhere else, nor anything else, the redeemed must do, except to praise God and give him the glory for the great things He has done!
