Russia just can’t catch a break these days.
Ever since Donald Trump took office back in 2016, it’s been Russia this and Russia that, all of which has involved some kind of impropriety.
Interestingly enough, almost all of the news regarding Russian involvement in US elections, dossiers, and now an apparent invasion of the Ukraine, have been brought to us by the very same people who lie to us on a daily basis, namely the Leftist media in the United States.
The media lied about the Steele dossier that attempted to frame President Trump.
The media lied about the 2020 Presidential elections.
The media lied about the China virus, and continues to lie about it.
But, now, all of the sudden the media is going to start telling us the truth about what is transpiring in Europe, or more specifically the Ukraine?
Frankly, in my opinion, Russia is being used as a scapegoat to distract everyone’s attention away from all the corruption taking place within our own country.
It is what dictators and sympathizers of the dictators do when they refuse to own up to their own improprieties.
In fact, it is part and parcel of what the Apostle Paul alluded to that would occur in the last days, when he wrote,
Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, while evil people and impostors will go on from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived (2 Tim 3:13).
Oh, it’s not that the Russians are as pure as the wind-driven snow.
It’s that we have our own liars and deceivers here in the States that are just as bad, if not worse, than anything that Putin and the Ruskies could produce.
The irony is that our liars and deceivers want everyone to believe they are as pure as the wind-driven snow, while using the Ruskies to deceive, distract, and dupe everyone, as they are being deceived, distracted, and duped.
Therefore, a healthy dose of skepticism should be used every time anyone turns on the radio or television, or peruses the Internet to gather the latest newsy happenings going on in the world, even if the personality or source claims to be “conservative” (whatever that means).
Let God be true, for all men by nature are liars, and the secular media proves that simple principle on a daily basis, Russia notwithstanding.
